Seller FAQs

How does chat work?

If a seller is available, then customers will see the option to open a chat window with the seller. Sellers will see a chat request on their booth page and can open the chat window and respond. The chat software will allow sellers to post images or optionally start an audio or video chat. Sellers will be able to toggle their availability from their booth page and may also opt out of chat if they wish.

What is the process to add listings?

Items can be added manually through the BiblioDirect Seller Tools or dealers can upload in bulk using the same file format they use for their regular Biblio inventory. Add the Biblio.live upload keyword to the keyword or catalog field of a listing and it will automatically be added to the fair.

Will the listings also show on Biblio.com?

No, once a listing is tagged for inclusion in Biblio.live, then it will not show on Biblio.com (or co.uk, com.au, etc.). Sellers are free to list the same item on their own website, but we do ask that they not list it on other marketplace websites during the fair.

Will there be a commission on sales?

No, there are no commissions on items sold during the fair. Customers will have the option to pay dealers directly if they wish or to pay online via Biblio’s checkout. A payment processing fee of 5% plus 35 cents will be charged on orders that are paid via Biblio checkout.

Can I send customers to my own website?

Yes, sellers are free to direct customers to their own site for purchase or to accept payment offline however they wish. Sellers can also set up links from the Biblio.live listing to the same item on their own website.

Can we have multiple images per book?

Yes, multiple photos can be added. There is no set limit, but in practice, we recommend a maximum of 12 images.

Can I offer a trade discount?

Sellers can set the percentage discount they want to offer to other sellers, and this discount will be automatically shown to other sellers.
